While traveling, ERICA BROOKS has gotten lost on six continents, sick in five countries and mugged in one town, and each time she lived to tell the tale. Actually, Erica has found that such trials can lead to the best travel stories, and this blog is the place where she shares them. In August of 2016, Erica kicked off a year of working/living/adventuring/generally badassing around the world with Remote Year, an international mobile coworking program. The group of 75 digital nomads started in Lisbon, Portugal and will travel to a new foreign city each month. In between weekend excursions, Erica spends her days as an art director and content designer.
